Laine - GTM Engineer (Revenue Operations) | Austin, TX | https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/4480648877/ Laine is building its U.S. commercial hub in Austin, and we want this role at the center of it. Candidates based in, or willing to relocate to, Austin, TX are strongly preferred. Exceptional candidates elsewhere in the United States will be considered and should be comfortable working across U.S. time zones as needed. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Why Laine Join us at Laine, where we’re on a mission to make expert-quality legal work accessible to every law firm and legal team. Laine is legal software built by attorneys — decades of legal methodology, built into the product — so lawyers produce partner-level drafting, review, and analysis without changing the way they work. Legal AI will be one of the defining categories of this decade, and the companies that win it are being decided right now. We launched in Switzerland in 2026, and we’re now building our U.S. business from Austin. You’d be joining the commercial team at the heart of that expansion — early enough that your work shapes how we grow, who we reach, and how we win. If you push for excellence and want to help build something genuinely new in legal technology, we invite you to build with us. At Laine, the future of legal work is being written today — and we’re just getting started. Role Overview As GTM Engineer at Laine, you will own the machinery of how we go to market. You will sit at the intersection of sales, marketing, product, client success, and our external agencies, and build the systems that connect them: the CRM, the enrichment and outbound engine, the automations, the reporting, and the processes that make a growing revenue team run cleanly. This is a builder’s role, part engineering and part operations, for someone with a hands-on obsession with AI and what it makes newly possible. Where others see a manual process, you see an automation. Where others see disconnected tools, you see a system waiting to be designed. The stack you build will be the difference between a team that scales and a team that stalls. What You’ll Do •      Own the go-to-market tech stack end to end — HubSpot, Clay, Apollo, and the surrounding tools — including architecture, administration, integrations, and what we adopt next •      Design and build the processes that run the revenue engine: lead routing, enrichment, sequencing, deal stages, handoffs from marketing to sales to onboarding to client success •      Build automations and AI-driven workflows throughout the funnel — list building, research, personalization, follow-up, reporting — so the team spends its time selling and serving, not on manual work •      Sit in the middle of product, marketing, sales, client success, and our agencies, translating what each needs into systems that serve all of them •      Build the reporting the team runs on — pipeline visibility, attribution, and the dashboards that show what’s working •      Protect the quality of the machine — data hygiene, deliverability discipline, naming conventions, and the guardrails that keep outbound sharp and safe •      Stay at the frontier of AI tooling, testing new models, agents, and workflows continuously and bringing what works into production fast •      Build the operational playbook as we scale from a founding U.S. team to a full commercial organization across markets What You Have •      Proven experience in revenue operations, growth engineering, or GTM systems at a B2B software company, with systems you built yourself and can walk us through •      Hands-on command of the modern GTM stack — HubSpot (or equivalent CRM), Clay, Apollo, enrichment and sequencing tools — as the person who builds in them, not the person who files tickets about them •      A hands-on obsession with AI: you experiment with new models, agents, and automation tools weekly, and you have strong opinions about what is real and what is noise •      An engineer’s approach to operations: you think in systems, document what you build, and design processes that hold up when the team triples •      Comfort with technical work — APIs, webhooks, data transformations, scripting where useful — even if you would not call yourself a software engineer •      Strong judgment on process design: you know when to automate, when to keep a human in the loop, and when the answer is deleting a step entirely •      Clear communicator who can align sales, marketing, product, and outside agencies around how the machine works and why •      Excited to own this domain outright at an early stage and grow with it If your experience doesn’t precisely match this description but you believe you would excel in the role, we encourage you to apply. How We Work These traits run through everyone on this team. You don’t need to arrive polished, but you’ll do your best work here if they sound like you: •      Seek the uncomfortable — growth lives outside the comfort zone, and we go there on purpose •      Challenge and be challenged — the best idea wins, no matter whose it is •      Accountability with vulnerability — own the outcome, and be honest about what you don’t know •      Play for each other — we win as a team or not at all •      Excellence in everything — quality is the brand, down to the smallest detail Compensation The annualized base salary range for this role is $110,000–$165,000, plus performance-based incentives. The final offer will be based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. About Laine Legal AI that holds itself to the standards of the profession. Laine combines frontier AI with methodology built by practicing attorneys, giving law firms and in-house legal teams expert-quality drafting, review, and analysis — without the complexity that keeps most legal AI from being used. We are a rapidly growing, global team that cares about the quality of its work down to the last detail, and Austin is where we’re building the U.S. business side by side. Laine is an equal opportunity employer. Laine is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
