Director of Business Operations

Director of Business Operations @ The Suite. Remote United States, Full time, Operations. $120K–$150K + equity + bonus. About the Role: Own the systems, data, and technology foundation that powers The Suite's growth: business tools and processes, standards for internal technology, email infrastructure, unified business intelligence, and internal AI enablement. Responsibilities: - Own the business systems stack (Claude, OpenAI, HubSpot, Airtable, Zapier, n8n, Slack, Google Workspace, Ramp, Chargebee, Gatsby) and set its roadmap. - Set and enforce standards for how internal tools, automations, and agents are built, owned, documented, and retired. - Regularly audit home-built Airtable systems; keep, improve, migrate, or rebuild. - Map and improve cross-functional processes; cut redundant tools, automations, notifications, meetings. - Lead the Business Operations team, including IT helpdesk, Airtable maintenance, vendor management, process documentation. - Lead email deliverability remediation (domain authentication, sending domain/IP strategy, campaign coordination, list hygiene, monitoring). - Partner with Engineering on a unified data layer across HubSpot, Postgres, Airtable, other sources. - Own the AI Transformation and Enablement program; pilot tools and put useful ones into regular use. - Lead the cross-functional AI Enablement team. - Support deployment of team-built AI automations and agents to company standards; retire when no longer needed. Qualifications: - Proven experience designing and running business systems at scale, ideally SaaS/high-growth. - Hands-on with HubSpot, Airtable, Zapier, n8n, Google Workspace, Ramp, Chargebee. - Experience building AI agents and helping others build them; piloting internal AI initiatives into regular use required. - Track record auditing complex automation environments, retiring tech debt, setting documentation and tool standards. - Deep knowledge of email deliverability. - Combining multiple data sources into unified reporting (HubSpot, Postgres, Airtable). - Leading operations teams and driving cross-functional change. - Strategic thinking and clear communication.
